Drapierte Figur, stehend

James McNeill Whistler, 1891

The image shows a full-body view of a person standing. The person is positioned with their body slightly leaning forward and to the side, and their head tilted downwards. The facial features are softly drawn, with subtle lines outlining the eyes and nose while the mouth remains indistinct. The hair appears curly or wavy, with a slight green tint at the top. The individual is draped in a loose-fitting robe that wraps around the body, partially revealing the contours underneath. There is a minimal background with the paper's texture visible, and three small linked green shapes to the right of the figure. The sketch is in monochromatic warm tones, enhancing its ethereal quality.
