Comic Warrior, Seated Woman, and Figure with a Shield

Französische Grafik 1775–1780, 1775/80

This is a drawing of three figures engaged in a scene. The central figure is seated upon a classical chair, pointing their right hand upwards and resting their left arm on their knee. To their left, one figure appears to be running or dancing, with one arm raised and the other holding a circular shield. On the right, another figure stands poised with a large decorative shield and a helmet adorned with a plume. The drawing uses fine lines on a neutral-toned background to convey the scene.
