Stary Hrosenov

Europäische Grafik 1833–1921, 1889

The image shows a countryside setting with a thatched-roof dwelling to the center-left. The horizon is indicated by the line of the roof and the distant greenery behind the house. The brushstrokes suggest movement and texture, with dappled shadow patches on the ground and against the house. The foreground has varying shades of green, hints of brown, and wood textures. The color palette is earthy and natural, dominated by greens, browns, and soft yellows, with a touch of red worn by a figure walking beyond the house. The sky is mostly obscured, but the light suggests a bright day.
