Landscape with a Natural Arch

Niederländische Grafik 1730–1914, c. 1718

The image shows a natural rocky landscape with a stone arch in the center where two small figures are walking. The view is slightly elevated, with large rock formations, dense foliage, and hints of a bright sky in the distance. The brushstrokes are detailed yet fluid, capturing the texture of rocks, trees, and foliage. The color palette includes earthy tones like browns, grays, and muted greens. On the right side, trees frame the composition, and figures are seen below the archway. The textures and natural elements provide depth in the painting.
