Farmyard in Winter

Winter and Christmas, 1786

The image shows a winter scene with a rustic homestead and its surroundings. The sky is filled with thick, gray clouds with patches of blue. In the distance, there are silhouettes of bare trees partially obscured by snow. The illustration is detailed, capturing the branches of trees and the texture of roofs and structures. The color palette is soft, with browns, grays, and white dominating. Close by, a pig is visible, along with three figures standing near a wooden sled. Snow-covered trees in the distance complete the rural scene.
