Mujeres y hombres ante una hoguera de huesos

Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, publicado en 1785

This is a print of a group of people looking at a pile of objects in an outdoor setting. The five people are all gathered together in the center of the print, looking to the right, four of them crouching on a tall ledge and the other person kneeling by a large stone. They are all looking towards a pile of objects in the lower right corner that appears to include several bones and the skull of an animal, as well as other unidentifiable shapes. On the left are several vases and a pile of cloth or fabric at the base of a tall column. There are several tall trees in the background on the right, and the sky above is mostly empty except for a few feathery lines that suggest clouds.
