Fille de Ferme

Deutsche Grafik 1890–1903, 1896

This is a drawing of a farmyard scene with chickens. The image includes a young person with short sleeves and a wide-brimmed hat, holding a wooden bucket with feed. They are feeding a group of chickens and roosters scattered on the ground. Some chickens are closer, while others are further away, gathered around a pile of yellow straw or feed in front of a stone structure with a wooden door. Clothes are hanging on a line in the background, with bright blue and white garments adding color to the scene. The drawing uses a limited color palette of yellows, blues, and neutral tones, with detailed pencil lines for texture and depth.
