Deutsche Grafik 1483–1490, circa 1490/1500

The image depicts a group of people in an illustrative or painted scene. There are six figures shown, all seated around a central figure in a frontal pose. The central figure, a child with curly blonde hair, sits on a stepped platform wearing a brown garment with a halo-like circle around the head. To the left, a figure in green raises their hand while holding a book. Another figure wearing a red hat holds a book. The other individuals wear varied clothing and hold books. Two figures on the right wear headscarves. In the background, there is an architectural element resembling arches, suggesting an indoor setting like a church. The colors are vivid, resembling an illuminated manuscript page.
