Descrizione dell’immagine
The artwork "The Despair of Cephalus" depicts a scene with three figures placed in a natural setting. Closest to us, two figures are engaged in interaction; one wears a purple tunic with a hat and gestures toward the other, who is in a yellow tunic. This interaction takes place on a path bordered by green grass and small plants. In the distance, a third figure, also dressed in yellow, stands with arms raised beneath a large tree with lush green foliage. The horizon is marked by additional trees, creating a sense of depth. The color palette includes earth tones and greens, with soft brushstrokes that give a textured look to the landscape. The sky appears overcast, with muted, cloudy tones.
