A Corner of a Meadow with Fountaingrass

Deutsche Grafik 1850–1890, circa 1870

The image features a view of a scene filled with large tufts of grass and greenery. The horizon is not visible, as the view is filled with the detailed depiction of grass in the foreground, leading to dense foliage in the distance. Brushstrokes create movement and texture, especially in the grass, with curves and sweeps depicting the natural flow of plant life. The color palette includes rich greens, varying from dark shadows to vibrant highlights, giving the composition a lively visual appeal.
