This is a painting of two armored figures jousting on horseback. The image depicts two horses, each ridden by an armored figure engaging in a joust. One horse is draped in a striped green and brown caparison while the other is in a plain dark color. The armored figures are each wielding a lance, with broken lance fragments visible in mid-air. The figures are outfitted in elaborate armor with helmets adorned with decorative crests. The painting is framed by a faint rectangular border.
