Camille Pissarro, 1878

This is a drawing of a market scene with several figures engaged in various activities. The composition features three central figures in the foreground around what appears to be a large container or basin. These figures wear headscarves and hats and seem focused on the basin or each other. In the background, there are more figures and details suggesting a street or market setting, with outlines of buildings, bare trees, and a bustling crowd involved in their daily routines. The strokes are loose and sketch-like, lending a sense of movement and life to the scene.
