Phasianus colchicus (Ring-necked Pheasant)

John Gould,

The image features a large, colorful pheasant lying across the foreground, with its vibrant plumage displaying hues of green, red, orange, brown, and blue. In the background, another bird is visible amidst snow-covered green foliage, with a few branches protruding upward. The color palette is a rich combination of earthy tones, contrasted by the bright feathers of the pheasant and the white snow scattered on the ground.
