Hydrochelidon nigra

John Gould,

The image shows three birds by a body of water: two in the water and one in flight above. The horizon is visible at the top with distant lands and reeds. The birds appear sleek, with a smooth texture, and the color scheme includes muted greens, grays, blues, and a hint of warm yellow in the sky. More reeds and grass are seen in the background along the water's edge, with the water reflecting the surrounding colors.
