Nell Horn

Französische Grafik 1891–1893, 1891

This image depicts a theater performance announcement featuring a silhouetted figure. The drawing shows a female figure with arms outstretched, rendered in a stippling or spray paint effect in red transitioning into yellow. The background includes text related to a theatrical performance titled "NELL HORN," a drama in four acts and six tableaux, in prose. The text also includes the name of the theater, "Le Théâtre Libre," the performance season of 1891-1892, and a performance date of Monday, May 25, 1891. Various roles and characters associated with the play are listed with names and descriptive titles for actors or personas, suggesting the image serves as a poster or playbill for a vintage theatrical production.
