Profile of Light

Odilon Redon, 1886

The image shows a side profile of a person's face from the shoulders up. The person appears to be in a seated or standing position with their head slightly bowed. Their facial features include a prominent nose, closed eyes, and a serene expression. The hair is detailed with a middle parting cascading down the sides of the face. They are wearing a garment covering their shoulders, with a suggestion of a veil or draped fabric over their head. The background is dark and textured, contrasting with the lighter areas of the person's face and hair.
